摘要：

For arbitrary constitutive functions, invariance under proper orthogonal transformations of the spatial variables leads to a system of linear or quasi-linear first order partial differential equations. The methods of systems of partial differential equations are then used to show the existence of nontrivial solutions, obtain these solutions, determine the number of functionally independent ones and find relations among those that are dependent. © 1969.
