摘要
A nonlinear kinematic equation for thin liquid film thickness which takes into account the effects of viscosity variation and London/van der Waals attractions is derived to study the mechanism of film rupture. After appropriate rescaling of time variable by a suitable factor, we show that this equation could be converted into a constant-viscosity equation. Then without further analysis we can deduce directly, by examination of the rescaling factor, that a cooling (heating) from the wall will increase (reduce) the rupture time.
