BARYON ASYMMETRY OF THE UNIVERSE IN GRAND UNIFIED THEORIES

摘要
In the context of grand unified theories we study the generation of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe by means of a mechanism based on baryon number nonconservation, CP-noninvariant mixing of scalar particles and violation of thermal equilibrium. We show that within the SO(10) unified model the proposed mechanism may account for the observed value of the asymmetry. © 1979.
