摘要
Current-voltage characteristics of a single-crystalline Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8+delta sample in the direction of the c-axis was measured with driving voltage. We observed negative differential conductivity. This can be interpreted qualitatively in terms of nonequilibrium superconductivity caused by current injection. Since superconductivity occurs locally in CuO2 planes only 3 angstrom, thick parallel to the c-axis, the injected quasiparticles can pass through the CuO2 layer before completely combining into pairs. These quasiparticles can cause negative differential conductivity.
