摘要
Based on state space techniques, a new matrix formula for the inverse z transform is established. It is particularly advantageous for use on high-order z-transfer functions. Since the formula is a closed form, it is more complete than the results obtained by the long division method; since the approach is computer oriented, it is easier to use than the complex integral technique. Hundreds of daily used z-transform pairs can be replaced by this single matrix formula. A computer programme is included. © Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
