摘要：

Dense populations of Prorocentrum micans are reported from the Galway Bay area in 1980 and 1981. At one location a density of 11x106 cells dm-3 was found co-incident with a bright red colour in the water. High concentrations of chlorophyll a and high levels of dissolved oxygen were also associated with the blooms. © 1990, Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom. All rights reserved.
