FIBRINOGEN METABOLISM IN EXPERIMENTAL TUMOURS

摘要
The uptake of intravenously injected labelled mouse and rat fibrinogen in two transplantable mouse tumours was studied. A high uptake occurred in tumours compared to normal tissues. This increased uptake was related to the thromboplastic and fibrinolytic properties of the tumours. Induced antifibrinolysis, when sufficient to inhibit spontaneous fibrinolytic activity in tumour tissue, decreased the disappearance of fibrinogen from tumours. Induced fibrinolysis, on the contrary, enhanced the disappearance of fibrinogen from tumour tissue. © 1969.
