摘要
We found new pentaamines in extracts of sword bean Canavalia gladiata. They are identified as aminopropyl and aminobutyl derivatives of canavalmine (PA 434), i.e. aminopropylcanavalmine [NH2(CH2)3NH (CH2)4NH(CH2)3NH(CH2)4NH2] (PA 3434) and aminobutylcanavalmine [NH2(CH2)4NH(CH2)4NH(CH2)3NH(CH2)4NH2] (PA 4434). The content of PA 3434 in the sword bean was ca 5% that of PA 434 and PA 4434 is present in much lower concentrations. The two pentaamines were identified by HPLC coupled with enzymatic cleavage method and GC-MS. © 1990.
