摘要
The reaction between triglycidylisocyanurate (TGI) and orthophosphoric or additives which with polypropylene give polyphosphoric acid (PPAc) produces materials classifiable as VO according to the UL94 specification. The reactions between TGI and H//3PO//4 and the thermal behaviour of the resultant additive materials obtained have been studied by means of DSC. The additives obtained from equimolar mixtures have the highest fire retardant (FR) power and show the lowest value of swelling. Analysis of the residue after combustion of a compound containing 80% of polypropylene (PP) shows that all the phosphorous remains in the fireproof residue together with much of the starting nitrogen and 60-70% of the polyolefine.
