摘要
This paper argues that research on new, technology-based firms (NTBFs) is biased toward high growth companies, while the majority of NTBFs wish to maintain slow growth or no growth. It is argued that the most important impact of NTBFs is achieved through the technology interactions between them and their environment. This paper proposes a framework for depicting the technology transfer effects of NTBFs. Indicators of these effects are tested, and the effects are discussed in the light of these indicators.
