DEPENDENCE OF BARKHAUSEN NOISE ON GRAIN-SIZE IN FERROMAGNETIC MATERIALS

摘要
We investigate Barkhausen noise dependence on grain size s by measuring its power spectrum F(ω) and amplitude probability distribution P(Φ) in different samples of 1.8% SiFe, with s in the range 30 μm < s < 125 μm. A theory recently proposed by the authors is employed to fit the experimental data. The dependence on s of the parameters describing F(ω) and P(Φ) is obtained and discussed. © 1990.
