摘要
Stearyltrimethylammonium cation has been used to induce the incorporation of metatungstate anion, H2W12O40(-6), into montmorillonite film on electrodes. Stable assemblies were obtained and could be studied easily in plain supporting electrolyte in a large pH domain. The redox and catalytic properties of the metatungstate anion are maintained in this assembly. For instance, oxygen is shown to be catalytically reduced on such an electrode.
