摘要:
The c axis thermal expansion of single-crystal Tb-50% Ho behaves anomalously at several specific temperatures in the antiferromagnetic phase, when the periodicity of the helical spin structure is commensurate with that of the crystal lattice. Mechanisms which may cause the hexagonal anisotropy to influence the lattice expansion are discussed.
