摘要
A very fast determination of sulphate in ground and drinking water by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP/OES) is described. The 182.037 nm line was selected for the measurement of the total sulphur content, because this line is not disturbed by calcium, one of the main components in natural waters. The limit of determination (0.5 mg/l SO4(2-)) is low enough for most aquatic samples. With a two point calibration the linear working range is between 0.5 and 100 mg/l SO4(2-).
