FLUID DIMER CRITICAL-POINT IN S=1/2 ANTIFERROMAGNETIC HEISENBERG CHAIN WITH NEXT NEAREST NEIGHBOR INTERACTIONS

摘要
We numerically investigate the critical value alpha(c) of the fluid-dimer transition in the ground state of the S = 1/2 antiferromagnetic Heisenberg chain with next nearest neighbor interactions, H=JSIGMA (S(j).S(j+1) + alphaS(j).S(j+2)) with J > 0 and alpha > 0. With the help of the conformal field theory, we can estimate alpha(c)=0.2411 +/- 0.0001.
