摘要
11β-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase activity of rat-liver microsomes has been assayed by a quantitative spectrophotometric method. The enzyme can be incubated at 45°, pH 10 for at least 45 min without loss of activity if NADP+ is included in the reaction mixture. Several 11β-hydroxysteroids are substrates of the enzyme but there is no activity towards 11β-hydroxysterone or 11β-hydroxysteroids with a C-21 sulfate, phosphate, acetate or hemisuccinate group. © 1969.
