摘要
This paper attempts to examine the structure of atomized Al85Y10Ni5 powders and to clarify the possibility of th formation of aluminium-based amorphous powders by the high-pressure gas atomization technique. It was found that aluminium-based amorphous powders with a diameter below 25 μm are produced in an Al85Y10Ni5 alloy by high-pressure helium atomization method. The high-hardness amorphous powder is expected to be used as a raw material for the production of aluminium-based high-strength materials with low density.
