A relativistic equation of quasipotential type with local interaction is studied. With the help of the method of varying constants, integral equations for the wave functions of the continuous spectrum are obtained and Jost functions are introduced. In the exactly soluble cases of square well potential and Coulomb potential the analytical properties of the scattering matrix are investigated. © 1969.
