摘要
Natural and acid-treated sepiolites have been used as a support of nickel catalysts. The nickel has been deposited by impregnation and precipitation. The influence of the acid pretreatment of the sepiolite previous to its impregnation with nickel nitrate and the precipitating agent (sodium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide, and ammonium carbonate) on the textural characteristics of the metal precursors and on the metallic nickel has been studied by X-ray diffraction, TEM, and H2 chemisorption. These properties have been related with their catalytic activity for the dehydrogenation and hydrogenolysis of methylcyclohexane.
