摘要
This paper describes the design and the microprocessor-based implementation of a variable structure strategy controller for a brushless dc motor drive. The controller is a conventional variable structure design in the continuous time domain. However, the microprocessor implementation using a constant sampling period implies that full sliding mode is not achieved. A novel feature of this paper is an analysis of the quasi sliding that results and its dependence on design parameters such as the sampling period and the switching gains. A new design procedure is suggested. The design is verified on an experimental setup, which generated variations in system parameters as well as external load disturbances.
