SENSITIZED PHOTOCATALYTICAL OXIDATION OF TERBUTYLAZINE

摘要
Dye sensitization of photocatalytical oxidation (PCO) has been found to be a new pathway of pollutant degradation. Terbutylazine was decomposed by applying visible light using rose bengal as sensitizer and titanium dioxide as photocatalyst. Degradation rates of > 50% have been realized. A mechanism of the sensitized photocatalytical oxidation (SPCO) is proposed.
