POPULATION OF INTRINSIC HIGH-SPIN STATES WITH THE DIRECT SN-116(ALPHA,P)SB-119 REACTION

摘要
The Sn116(±,p)Sb119 reaction at E±=35.6 MeV has been used to locate previously unknown high spin states in Sb119. Cluster distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations have been employed to identify L=10 (J=192+, 212+) transfers to states at 4.120±0.015 and 4.210±0.015 MeV. A state located at 4.020±.015 MeV may be fit by either L=12 or 14 distorted-wave Born-approximation curves. These high spin states are not members of the previously identified K=92+ rotational band. No evidence for population of this 92+ band was observed. Residual interaction matrix elements for the (h112s12)5-,6- configurations have been deduced, assuming simple wave functions for the states populated by L=10 transfers. The resulting matrix elements are in excellent agreement with the predictions of a force, as are other matrix elements extracted from the odd-odd Sb spectra. NUCLEAR REACTIONS Sn116(±,p)Sb119, separated isotope, measured (Ep,), cluster DWBA analysis, deduced residual interaction matrix elements. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
