摘要
The paper presents the results of the theoretical and experimental studies of the four-point field coherence function Г4 of a wave propagating in a turbulent medium. On the basis of the asymptotic method, expressions for the complex value of Г4 in the region of strong intensity fluctuations are obtained. The theoretical and experimental results for the real and imaginary parts of Г4 and for different configurations of receiving points are compared. © 1979 Taylor and Francis Ltd.
