Thermodynamic functions (heat capacity, enthalpy, entropy, and free energy) are calculated for 38 halogenated benzenes in the ideal gas state from 298.15° to 1000° K. at 1 atm. of pressure. All the functions were obtained by statistical mechanical means. Agreement with experimental results, where such are available, is satisfactory. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
