摘要
In a previous study (W. Norde and J. Lyklema, 1978, J. Colloid Interface Sci.66, 266) on the adsorption of human plasma albumin and bovine pancreas ribonuclease on negatively charged polystyrene latices it was found that this process is accompanied by an uptake of protons. In addition, other cations and/or anions are absorbed or released upon adsorption. The extent to which this happens is estimated by analyzing electrophoretic mobilities of all particles involved before and after adsorption. The trend is that upon adsorption at low pH negative charge is absorbed, whereas at high pH positive charge is taken up. © 1978.
