摘要
It has been shown that complex molecules with conjugated ring systems, such as vitamin B-12. its analogs, and cobalt phthalocyanine. escape fragmentation during the Auger event following electron-capture decay of cobalt-57. Consequently, Mossbauer spectra are characteristic of the entire molecules. This opens up very interesting possibilities for the use of emission Mossbauer spectroscopy for biologically important molecules.
