摘要
New layered perovskite compounds Sr(n+1)V(n)O(3n+1) (n = 1, 2, and 3) and SrVO3 (n = infinity) were synthesized, and the physical properties of the compound with n = 1, 2, and infinity were investigated. Sr2VO4 was semiconducting in its electrical properties and antiferromagnetic in its magnetic properties, while it was weakly ferromagnetic at low temperatures below 45 K. On the other hand, Sr3V2O7 exhibited metallic behavior in its electrical conduction and a Pauli paramagnetism that was superimposed with a weak Curie-Weiss-type magnetism. The crystal structures and electrical and magnetic properties of Sr(n+1)V(n)O(3n+1) (n = 1, 2, a nd 3) and SrVO3 were compared.
