摘要：

A direct EDTA titration method for mercury(II) ions with o-(2-thiazolylazo)-cresol (TAC) as the metallochromic indicator at pH 7-8.3 is described. Sharp color changes from blue to yellow or red indicate the equivalence point. The indicator transition of TAC is discussed theoretically by using the formation constants of the mercury (II)-TAC chelate; the results obtained were confirmed experimentally by photometric titration. © 1969.
