摘要：

The aim of this document is: (i) to analyse the elements of the specifications for time-related quantities in the clinical laboratory; and (ii) to recommend a format that will unify, simplify, clarify and hence improve the reporting and understanding of time-related quantities measured in the clinical laboratory.
