摘要
A linear parametrization of the equation of state near the critical point, proposed by Schofield, is tested. From the available experimental data in the critical regions of a number of magnets (CrBr3, Ni, Gd) and fluids (Co2, Xe, He4) we find evidence of systematic deviations from an assumption of linearity. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
