SPACE-CHARGE-LIMITED CONDUCTIVITY AND TRAPPING MODE DIAGNOSIS IN THIN-FILMS OF NICKEL PHTHALOCYANINE

摘要
The d.c. electrical properties of evaporated Au nickel phthalocyanine Au sandwich structures have been measured. Fresh samples exhibited ohmic conduction at lower voltages with space-charge-limited conductivity (SCLC), controlled by a single discrete trap level, appearing at higher voltages. Annealed samples drew lower currents, and showed ohmic conductivity followed by SCLC dominated by an exponential distribution of traps. The exhaustion of oxygen and the occurrence of a phase transformation during annealing were thought to be responsible for the observed effects.
