摘要
1. 1. An unusual erythrocyte behavior in hypotonic saline solutions has been observed in several species of marine fishes. 2. 2. A relationship has been observed between osmotic fragility of fish erythrocytes and cell volume in certain species. 3. 3. Incubation of fish erythrocytes revealed a greater increase in the fragility of the unusual erythrocytes than in normal erythrocytes. 4. 4. Similarities in the behavior of some fish erythrocytes and those of pathological human erythrocytes have been noted. © 1969.
