摘要：

In a system consisting of He-3, He-4, and a porous material, manipulation of the He-4 chemical potential leads to modification of the He-4 configurations. Changes in the He-4 configuration change the phase space available to the He-3 and the entropy of the He-3 changes accordingly. This system can be operated as a refrigerator by judicious choice of its parameters.
