摘要：

The success of treatment for childhood cancer has prompted greater attention to issues of quality of life for the survivors. Work on health-related quality of life has proceeded faster for adults than for children. This paper reviews the results of such work for adults and points to the potential for applications in children. Specific problems in adapting measures and in interpreting the results in the context of a child's development are discussed. An approach to the assessment of the health-related quality of life for survivors of childhood cancer is proposed. (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
