摘要：

Tissue culture cells from ascites fluid from a patient with carcinoma of colon showed an unusual rapid, expansile activity confined to a localized zone around the cell margins. On electron microscopy there were many fine filaments throughout the cytoplasm but concentrated in large bundles beneath the cell membrane. The ultrastructure of the filaments resembles that of actin. © 1969.
