摘要
The intensity of light scattered from a solution of spheroidal macromolecules placed in a small alternating electric field was calculated for the limit of small scattering angles. Calculation was accomplished by expansion of the scattering amplitude in a series of spherical harmonics. The intensity of the alternating component of scattered light was found to be a function of the radius of gyration of the scatterer and a particle shape factor. Using the Rayleigh-Gans-Debye approximation, the particle shape factor was calculated for prolate and oblate spheroids. © 1979.
