UV emission from general lighting lamps

摘要：

The permissible exposure time (PET) for a number of different lamp types, including incandescent, halogen, fluorescent, and HID sources, are reported. The PET values were obtained from spectral measurements of the UV emissions from the lamps as modified by recommended procedures de-scribed in the proposed IESNA standard RP-27 Photobiological Safety of Lamps and Lamp Systems. All measurements are reported at an illuminance of 1000 1x. In addition, the modification of UV emissions from lamps by the use of a variety of different envelope materials and coatings is discussed.
