摘要
Heteropolyacids and their salts supported on a macroreticular acidic ion-exchange resin, Amberlyst-15, show much higher activity than Amberlyst-15 itself, and those supported on activated carbon, celite, silica or titanium dioxide for the hydration of 2-methylpropene and the esterification of acetic acid with 1-pentanol. The higher activity may plausibly be attributed to the interaction of heteropoly anions with substrates which are protonated by the protons of the acidic resin.
