EXCITON QUANTIZATION AND OPTICAL-PROPERTIES IN SEMICONDUCTOR QUANTUM GRATINGS

摘要
A variational wave function for excitons in quantum well wires is obtained. The lowest exciton energy and the oscillator strength are briefly discussed as functions of lateral dimensions. The reflectivity is computed for s and p light by a Green's function formalism, by taking into account the spatial dispersion of excitons and local-field effects. © 1990.
