摘要
A 3BdB-gain silica fibre Raman amplifier is demonstrated at 1.3 mu m using a 1064nm pump. Cascaded Raman generation and amplification are achieved in a monolithic ring cavity constructed solely from conventional fibre components, i.e. fusion WDM couplers and standard silica fibre.
