YBCO single crystals with high critical current densities are studied by means of torque magnetometry. Magnetization curves show the typical fishtail shape for all crystals which differ with respect to the twin structure as well as oxygen stoichiometry. The field dependence is discussed in the frame of the collective pinning theory according to an analysis given by Hiergeist et al. [this conference]. Pinning contributions due to random pinning centers as well as due to correlated disorder (e.g. twin boundaries) are discussed.
