SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AT 95-K IN THE SINGLE-PHASE YBA2CU3O9-Y SYSTEM

摘要
We report the evidence of stable and reproducible high-T//c superconductivity at 95 K in the single-phase compound YBa//2Cu//3O//9// minus //y. It is confirmed that the YBa//2Cu//3O//9// minus //y phase is responsible for the high-T//c superconductivity in a mixed Y-Ba-Cu-O system. A sudden and sharp drop in the resistivity of at least six orders of magnitude, is completed at 93. 4 K with a resistive transition width of DELTA T//c equals 1. 0 K. In addition, a large diamagnetic ac-susceptibility also clearly indicates that the superconducting state is realized in this compound below 94 K.
