摘要:
The authors give experimental evidence for a new type of modelocking mechanism in Er-doped fibre lasers, based on polarisation evolution in an intracavity MQW waveguide. Experiments indicate that anisotropic properties of MQW waveguides can continuously start the modelocking process.
