INTERNAL REORIENTATIONS IN K2REH9 VIA WIDE-LINE AND PULSED PROTON RESONANCE STUDIES

摘要
Proton spin-lattice relaxation times (T1) and second moments (M2) have been measured as a function of temperature for K2ReHg. The activation energies for internal reorientation of ReHg ions, and their rms errors, are 9.9±0.4 and 25.0±0.8 kj/mole (2.4±0.1 and 6.0±0.2 kcal/mole), respectively, for type a and d sites. Our results suggest that the barriers are determined by nearest-neighbor ReH 9--ReHag- interactions.
