A MODEL FOR PION ELECTRO-PRODUCTION AND PHOTOPRODUCTION FROM THRESHOLD UP TO 1 GEV

摘要
A model for electro- and photo-pion production is presented which is applicable at threshold and through the first and second resonance regions. It contains the Born terms, the vector mesons rho and omega, the delta and the Roper resonances as well as the resonances S11, D13, S-31 and D33. Extensive comparison to experimental data on photo-pion production is presented. The model is shown to describe data qualitatively up to 1 GeV and quantitatively up to 800 MeV. In the detailed comparison with experiment, better agreement is found with data on the proton target than with data on the neutron target.
