摘要
A number of spectral parameters of acoustic emission measured on copper and copper-aluminum single and polycrystals have been analyzed with the aim to establish the mutual correlations between them. It has been shown that since there are no simple correlations between most of the AE spectral parameters, it is necessary to consider a set of certain parameters to the realistic characterization of spectrum as a whole. The minimum set recommended includes the maximum power (energy) density, central frequency, effective width of spectrum or median frequency and total power (energy).
