摘要
Adsorption of dimethylacrylamide-glycidyl acrylate copolymers covering the entire range of chemical composition on nonporous silica particles (aerosil 200) from chloroform was studied by the Infrared technique. The adsorbed amounts, the fractions of dimethylacrylamide, PDMA, and glycidyl acrylate, PGA, units that are directly interacting with the silanol surface sites, and the saturation degree of the surface sites were separately determined. The large variations of the fractions of links were attributed to the preferential adsorption of the dimethylacrylamide units over the glycidyl acrylate ones. A maximum in the amounts adsorbed at the plateau was found at 25 mol% GA content, which is in disagreement with models of random copolymer adsorption. © 1992.
