摘要
Expressions of the diffraction efficiencies of thin transmittance and absorption transmission gratings of arbitrary periodic shape are presented. The fraction of the incident power transmitted and the maximum obtainable diffraction efficiencies for a number of representative absorption and transmittance grating shapes are given. © 1979.
