摘要
A discrete basis set has been used in conjunction with many-body perturbation theory to calculate correlation contributions to the Sternheimer quadrupolar antiscreening parameter gamma infinity in the Pr 3+. A very large contribution, omitted in previous work, is shown to arise from the use of Hartree-Fock potentials in generating the basis states. The remaining correlation contributions have been calculated to lowest order and are shown to be relatively small.
