摘要
Contemporary social violence in Northern Ireland has been viewed as an outgrowth of colonialism, sectarianism, and class politics. A heavy toll of deaths and injuries is compounded by major property damage, intimidation, high levels of emigration, and decade-long disruptions in social life. Regions with differing propensities for violence are enumerated, and appropriate public policies are proposed for each region. -Author
